One Day Sober ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect a username and password. Email address is optional and used only for account recovery.
Location: We collect your approximate location (city-level) to show you posts from your local community. We never share your precise location with other users.
Posts and content: Content you post in the feed or group chats is stored on our servers and visible to other users in your area.
Sobriety date: If you choose to enter your sobriety date, we use it to display your sobriety streak. This is optional.
We use your information solely to operate the One Day Sober app — to show you local posts, enable group chat, and display sobriety milestones. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
One Day Sober is built for anonymity. No real name is required. Your username is not linked to your identity. Location is displayed only at the city level, never your precise address.
We review reported content within 24 hours. Content that violates our community guidelines is removed. Users who repeatedly violate guidelines are banned. All moderation decisions are made by our team.
Your account and posts are retained until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen, which permanently removes all your data.
One Day Sober is intended for users 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 17.
We use RevenueCat to process subscriptions. RevenueCat's privacy policy applies to subscription transactions. We do not share your personal information with any other third parties.
You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account at any time by emailing us or using the delete account feature in the app.
